Botanical Name: Citrus Sinensis
Important Information: This evergreen tree has dark green leaves, white flowers & a round bright orange fruit. It is smaller than the bitter orange tree, less hearty & has fewer spines. The fruit has a pulp without a bitter membrane, because this is a 5 fold oil please note that it is 5 times stronger than traditional sweet orange oil & should be used accordingly.
Active Ingredients: Often found in sweet orange essential oil are a-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, limonene, linalool, citronellal, neral & geranial. Sweet orange oil has a fresh, soft & bright aroma with a colour which varies from yellow to orange. Its a happy, radiant oil which recalls happiness & heat while it is also though to relax & help children sleep through the night. Sweet orange oil may be used effectively for the nervous system as well as for colds, the flu & to eliminate toxins from the body.
Mixes well with: The oils of Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Lavender, Lemon, Frankincense & Sandalwood.
